Futureproof and Arctic Shores team up to uncover tomorrow’s tech talent

  • Arctic Shores, a pioneer in HR technology, helps screen thousands of time-tested candidates for true potential.
  • futureproof aims to double its recruitment of new interns for 2022 with the Arctic Shores talent discovery platform

London, United Kingdom, February 7, 2022: arctic coaststhe pioneer of psychometric assessment, has partnered with the technical training platform time-tested to double its number of trainees in 2022 to 400.

Rather than selecting candidates based on skills or experience, Futureproof instead sought to measure curiosity, drive, resilience and the ability to collaborate – skills well suited to the future of work. This led the company to the Arctic Shores platform, which measures dozens of traits not seen on a resume.

By seeing more than just the skills or experience of applicants, the two organizations hope to pave the way for more diverse tech talent to enter the industry. In particular, companies aim to unearth a new generation of technical engineers from diverse backgrounds, helping major employers build the quality of their technology teams for years to come.

Ed Halliday, COO of futureproof, said, “At futureproof, we aim to transform the way large enterprises seek out diverse, high-quality technology talent. That’s why we’re so excited to work closely with Arctic Shores: to use the next frontier of assessment to unearth the future engineers that others miss and to help our clients build the brightest technical teams of tomorrow.

Robert Newry, Founder and CEO of Arctic Shores, said, “As futureproof aims to double its number of interns in 2022, I am proud that the team has chosen our platform to support them. In 2020, women represented just 19% of all technology employees. And last year, only 15% were from ethnic minorities. This must change. This partnership is the latest step on a long journey: to a world where we go beyond outdated assessment metrics like the CV to focus on potential and see more in people.
