MYOB acquires distribution partners Axsys and Exobiz in the midmarket push – Services – Software
Accounting software provider MYOB has acquired two of its Australian distribution partners, Axsys and Exobiz, for an undisclosed amount.
The acquisitions aim to strengthen MYOB’s recent move into direct selling to its mid-market customers.
Based in Hobart and with offices in Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide, Axsys is a three-time MYOB Partner of the Year, specializing in both midmarket and enterprise.
Queensland-based Exobiz is a Platinum Partner of MYOB, developing bespoke ERP solutions for Australian businesses based on MYOB Exo and Advanced products.
MYOB Managing Director for Enterprise Kim Clarke said the acquisitions would bring a wealth of skills and experience to delivering enterprise solutions in Australia and New Zealand and would be essential to enable growth ambitions of MYOB in this segment.

As part of the agreements, Axsys Managing Director Jason Ransley will join MYOB in an advisory role while Exobiz co-owner and CTO, Steve Aish will remain on to lead the ERP migration development team. by MYOB.
