UConn MBB adds Roumoglou to the program

STORRS, Connecticut – UConn Men’s Basketball Coach Dan Hurley announced the addition of Apostolos Roumoglou to the program.

Originally from Greece, the 6-7 Roumoglou joins the program for the 2022-23 season in a real first year. He becomes the second international addition to the program in the last two weeks, after the striker Yarin Hasson of Israel.

Roumoglou, 19, recently spent time this season with PAOK mateco of the Greek Basketball Champions League.

Last year, Roumoglou competed with the Greek U18 team in the FIBA ​​European Challenges, during which he averaged 8.4 points, 2.6 rebounds and 1.4 assists per game. He shot 31.3% overall and 37.0% from three points.
